I am running workshops during the Easter holidays for young writers in Skerries, Swords and Blackrock, County Dublin.
A Twist in the Tale Workshop
The first workshop takes place in Newpark school in Blackrock, County Dublin on Tuesday 22nd April from 2 – 5p.m. The course is suitable for ten to fourteen year olds.
We will focus on creating a story with a surprising twist in the tale. These stories are brilliant for exam situations and entering short story competitions.
The same workshop will run again for ten to fourteen year olds on Thursday 24th April in Skerries Mills from 2 – 5p.m. Cost per child is €35.
Treasure Island Story Workshop
Children’s Workshop
(7-12 yr olds) Wednesday 23 April from 2 -5p.m. in Applewood Community Centre, Applewood, Swords, County Dublin
(7 – 12 yr olds) Friday 25th April from 10.30 – 1.30p.m. in Skerries Mills, Skerries, County Dublin.
This workshop will focus on creating treasure island stories involving pirates and ship-wrecked characters stranded on deserted islands in the middle of the ocean.
